So much to be thankful for, this year and always...lots of love and laughter, and family traditions. We celebrated a lovely Thanksgiving once again in the garage, and somehow it just works. The meal was delicious, the company was entertaining, and the best part of all was the snow that fell in the evening, bringing all of the kids outside for fun and snowball fights.

We of course continued the weekend with our typical traditions. On Friday night we went to downtown Westerly to see Santa pop into town via firetruck, and the boys were so excited to see him after nearly a year. Mrs. Claus was there, too, and Jack is still talking about the glitter that she rubbed on his cheek!

We also went to Buttonwoods over the weekend to choose our Christmas tree, and it was perfect. Per usual, Marc thought it was too small, but it really did fit just right in our little home. Sam kept telling Marc that the trees that he wanted to cut were "too tall". So glad that he's on my side with this one...I think that if I just sent Marc and Jack, they might end up cutting a hole in our roof just to fit the tree of their dreams! And that pretty much sums up our weekend. Pretty predictable, but I love our routines and hope that the boys will have happy memories of these times as they grow up and celebrate Thanksgiving on their own terms.
