Then: Since Jack and Sam are both August babies, they were both too young to go on an egg hunt on their first Easter. But unlike Jack, Sam was able to tag along (in the Ergo, of course) on a couple egg hunts. Their nanny, Alyssa, took them to the same nature center egg hunt where Jack had found the special egg the previous year, and I brought the boys to the park for the quickest egg hunt of all time. Jack was in the first group to go, and since it was a chilly day and it was just me and the boys, we took off immediately once he had finished. Sadly, I don't have any photos of the egg hunts this year, but I did take some pics of our Easter egg decorating, at least!

Now: I brought Jack and Sam to the park on a beautiful sunny day to meet their cousins for the annual egg hunt. It was a bit of a longer event because there was a kid in our family in each age group. Thankfully the weather cooperated, so it was a great day to hang out in the park. We also had a lot of fun decorating eggs this year. Each year the kids are more and more into it, and it's fun to look back and see how their decorating styles (and mine!) have changed.

| Jack spent a ton of time working on this one, only to have it crack at the end. He took it all in stride, though! |
